The joystick shaft is a small but important mechanical part inside a control mechanism. Its dimensions, shaft diameter, length, threading and mating features need to match the surrounding gimbal or control assembly accurately. For this reason, custom production is often more suitable than using a standard shaft.
Bzc-precision can manufacture precision joystick shafts from customer drawings or samples, using CNC turning and Swiss-type machining where the part geometry requires stable control of small diameters and multiple features. Materials can be selected according to the application, including stainless steel, brass, aluminum and other engineering materials.
The shaft design can be customized for length, diameter, thread, grooves, flats, knurling and other functional features. For OEM projects, drawings, samples and production quantities can be reviewed before machining.
