This precision cross-hole threaded shaft is designed with multiple turned sections, a threaded end and a radial hole. Such combinations of cylindrical and cross-drilled features are commonly used where a shaft must both locate and mechanically secure another component.
Bzc-precision provides custom CNC shafts with cross holes manufactured from customer drawings or samples. CNC turning establishes the primary diameters and shoulders, while drilling and other secondary operations create the required functional features.
The shaft geometry, thread specification, hole diameter and hole location can be customized according to the customer’s technical requirements.
